DESCRIPTION:A conference to help students with disabilities and their famil
 ies develop skills for making choices\, using their voices and planning fo
 r transition to adulthood\n\nThe Illinois Family Leaders Collaboration is 
 hosting the 16th Annual Conference for Families of Children with Disabilit
 ies "A Disability Roadmap for an Inclusive Life" on April 29 from 8:15 to 
 3:30 p.m.\n\nThis conference will focus on helping individuals with disabi
 lities and their families ensure that they are developing the skills neede
 d to:\n\n 	Make choices (self-direction)\n 	Use their voices (advocate)\n 
 	Develop social/emotional skills\, and are included in typical activities\
 n 	Ensure access to general education curriculum and are exposed to career
 s and vocations\n\nKeynote speakers will include Daniel and Samuel Habib a
 nd Bridget and Nancy Brown. Please see the conference flyer for their bios
  and more details.\n\nYouth with disabilities in junior high and high scho
 ol are encouraged to attend with a parent/guardian. There is no registrati
 on fee for the student.\n\nThe registration fee is $20 per family and $30 
 for professionals.\n\nRegister online for the conference.\n\nThe Illinois
