SUMMARY:2021 Illinois School for the Visually Impaired Virtual Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nEngaging\, hands-on STEAM activities for children wi
 th visual impairments in a virtual format\n\nThe Illinois School for the V
 isually Impaired is hosting its first virtual summer camp program.\n\nThe 
 camp will run from June 3-5. It will feature creative\, hands-on STEAM (sc
 ience\, technology\, engineering\, arts and mathematics) activities.\n\nCa
 mp counselors will interact with students in real-time through live-stream
 ing classes.\n\nEligible campers must:\n\n 	Be Illinois residents\n 	Have 
 a pre-determined vision loss that affects their learning ability\n 	Meet t
 he camp's grade-level requirements (entering third through eighth grades)\
 n 	Able to access Zoom meetings\n\nThe camp will have a morning session fo
 r students going into third through fifth grades and an afternoon session 
 for students going into sixth through eighth grades.\n\nFill out the onlin
 e camp registration form to sign up.\n\nThe school will accept 25 campers 
 for each of the two groups (50 campers total). Campers will be accepted on
  a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nRegistration will close on May 10.\
