DESCRIPTION:Free summer camp for youth ages 7 to 17 with vision loss\n\nCam
 p Lions of Illinois is hosting "Vision Week" from July 24 to 30 at East Ba
 y Camp\, 24248 Ron Smith Memorial Highway\, in Hudson.\n\nWhile many activ
 ities are identical to the Lions' other camps\, this session highlights ac
 tivities that accommodate youth ages 7 to 17 who are blind or have low vis
 ion.\n\nDaily schedules are posted in large print and in Braille and featu
 re choices including swimming\, beeper baseball\, horse riding\, pontoon b
 oat rides\, beeper archery\, and crafts such as painting or beading.\n\nEv
 ery day is different and perfect for the creative spirit. Other activities
  include a beach party\, cookouts\, songs around the campfire\, Braille bi
 ngo\, cards and an assortment of tactile games and described videos.\n\nSl
 eeping accommodations at Camp Lions “Vision Week” are in air-condition
 ed cabins with eight bunks to a room. Every cabin is one level and has a m
 odern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The counselor-to-camper ratio is 1:4
  to make Camp Lions a positive and safe experience.\n\nVisit the Camp Lion
