SUMMARY:2023 iCan Bike Camp in East Peoria
DESCRIPTION:A day camp for youth with disabilities ages 8 to 18 to learn to
  ride a two-wheel bicycle\n\nEasterseals of Central Illinois is hosting iC
 an Bike Day Camp from Aug. 7 through 11. Five different sessions will take
  place between 8:30 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. each day. Riders attend one 75-minu
 te session per day.\n\nUsing adapted bicycles\, a specialized instructiona
 l program and trained staff\, iCan Bike Camp helps children and youth ages
  8 to 18 with disabilities learn to ride a two-wheel bicycle.\n\nFor five 
 consecutive days\, participants will learn to ride while spotters accompan
 y and encourage them. The bikes are adjusted during the week to help rider
 s learn to balance as they gradually discover the skill and joy of riding.
 \n\nA parent or guardian willing to intervene or assist staff as requested
  must accompany participants. Other requirements include:\n\n 	Attending a
 ll five days of camp\n 	Having a minimum inseam of 20 inches\n 	Weighing l
 ess than 220 pounds\n 	Walking without assistive devices and being able to
  side-step to both sides\n 	Willing to wear a properly fitted helmet\n\nSe
 e the iCan Bike flyer for session times and more details.\n\nThe cost is $
