DESCRIPTION:A parade celebrating diversity and pride in the way people thin
 k about and define “disability”\n\nJoin the Disability Pride Parade As
 sociation for the 2024 Disability Pride Parade and festivities on July 20 
 at 12 p.m.\n\nChicago’s Disability Pride Parade is a celebration and rec
 ognition of the diversity of people living with disabilities. This year's 
 theme is "Disability Pride Will Not Be Denied." Chicago-born painter and d
 isability advocate Genevieve Ramos will serve as the parade grand marshal.
 \n\nThe parade will start at 401 S. Plymouth Court and continue half a blo
 ck west on Van Buren before going north on Dearborn. The route continues o
 n Dearborn until reaching Daley Plaza where a variety of post-parade festi
 vities will take place.\n\nThe Disability Pride Parade in Chicago began in
  2004 and is one of the oldest events in the country.\n\nOrganizations and
  individuals must register to march in the parade. The fee for individuals
  is $10 per person. Register to march by July 12.\n\nIf you have question
