DESCRIPTION:Young children in Illinois with spina bifida and/or mobility de
 ficits are eligible to receive a free custom electric ride-on car.\n\nThe 
 Illinois Spina Bifida Association (ISBA)\, New Trier High School and New T
 rier Educational Foundation\, and Sunrise Medical are hosting a GoBabyGo w
 orkshop on Feb. 26.\n\nGoBabyGo is a program of the University of Delawar
 e committed to all people exploring their world via independent mobility.\
 n\nEligible children will receive custom electric ride-on cars that empowe
 r greater mobility and independence.\n\nThe GoBabyGo program is open to ch
 ildren living anywhere in Illinois ages 1 to 3 who have:\n\n 	Significant 
 mobility deficits\n 	Head and trunk control\n 	Cognitive age of 12 months 
 or greater\n 	No severe visual disorder\n 	Enthusiastic parent(s) with the
  ability to supervise a child in a car\n\nThe program will fit cars and de
 liver them to participants at the GoBabyGo workshop at New Trier High Scho
 ol in Winnetka.\n\nVisit ISBA's website to learn more about the GoBabyGo p
 rogram.\n\nFamilies interested in receiving a car must complete the regist
 ration form.\n\nThe project team will review all forms. The team will cont
 act families if there are any questions.
