DESCRIPTION:The latest information and resources related to the education 
 of children with hearing loss.\n\nThe theme of this year's conference is 
 "Under Construction: Building Bright Futures."  The keynote speakers are 
 Heather Costner on Friday\, March 4\, and Karen Putz on Saturday\, March 5
 .  The event also features pre-conference workshops\n\nCostner has 10 yea
 rs of experience in the field of deaf education and she's currently an ass
 istant principal at the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center's Ken
 dall Demonstration Elementary School.  Putz\, the mother of three deaf an
 d hard of hearing teenagers\, is the Co-Coordinator of Deaf and Hard of He
 aring Infusion at Hands &amp\; Voices and co-founder of Illinois Hands &am
