SUMMARY:AAPD 2024 Fall Internship Program Virtual Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Free virtual information session for anyone interested in apply
 ing for the 2024 AAPD Fall Internship Program\n\nThe American Association 
 of People with Disabilities (AAPD) is hosting a virtual 2024 Fall Internsh
 ip Program information session on March 4 from 3 to 4 p.m.\n\nAAPD’s int
 ernship program places students and recent graduates with disabilities in 
 paid internships. Interns build leadership skills\, explore career opportu
 nities and connect with the disability community.\n\nThe information sessi
 on will provide potential applicants with:\n\n 	Program information and im
 portant dates\n 	An opportunity to ask questions\n 	Tips for navigating th
 e application process\n\nThe program will select ten interns to participat
 e for 14 weeks from Sept. 3 to Dec. 6. The internship includes:\n\n 	Atten
 ding an in-person gathering in Washington\, D.C.\, from July 24 - 27\n 	Co
 mpleting remote internships at placement sites\n 	Working part-time for 15
  hours a week and being paid $18 per hour\n\nVisit AAPD's Fall Internship 
 Program webpage for more details or to apply. The deadline to apply for th
 e fall internship is March 13 at 4 p.m.\n\nRegister for the information se
 ssion on Zoom.\n\nCART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) and Ame
 rican Sign Language (ASL) will be available. The session will be recorded
