DESCRIPTION:Learn about the social determinants of caring for children and 
 families with special needs.\n\nThe third annual Autism\, Behavior and Com
 plex Medical Needs - Downstate (ABC-D) Conference is scheduled for April 2
 8 at the Regency Conference Center in O'Fallon.\n\nThe conference will de
 liver valuable information about social determinants of health in order to
  enable providers across many disciplines to recognize and address these d
 eterminants when caring for children and families with special healthcare 
 needs\, including those impacted by trauma and adverse childhood experienc
 es.\n\nThe event - hosted by the Illinois Chapter\, American Academy of Pe
 diatrics - is intended for primary care providers and their teams\, incl
 uding pediatricians\, family physicians\, nurse practitioners\, physician 
 assistants\, residents\, fellows\, medical students and allied health care
