DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Black disability community and enjoy a fun and es
 sential accessible experience for all\n\nJoin the University of Illinois C
 hicago's Disability Cultural Center (DCC) and the Chicagoland Disabled Peo
 ple of Color Coalition for Accessible Juneteenth 2024 on June 18 from 4 to
  7:30 p.m.\n\nThe theme for the fourth annual Accessible Juneteenth celebr
 ation is Black National Anthems. Celebrate the Black disability community 
 while making Juneteenth a fun and essential accessible experience for all!
 \n\nJuneteenth 2024 will kick off with DomoMoon's rendition of “Lift Eve
 ry Voice and Sing.”  You can share your talents in singing\, spoken wor
 d\, playing instruments and more in the open mic showcase beginning at 5:3
 0 p.m.\n\nOther activities will include:\n\n 	Music by DJ Matt\n 	Performa
 nces from RISE\, Victoria Boateng\, Cherlnell Lane\, Complex Theory and ot
 her special guests\n 	Food\n 	Giveaways\n 	Resources and vendors\, includi
 ng Black-owned and disability-owned/friendly organizations and businesses\

 e open mic now or at the event in person. Please note that spots are limit
 ed.\n\nAmerican Sign Language (ASL) and captioning will be available for t
 he open mic and showcase portion. The event will require masking in indoor
