DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to explore advanced technical careers for high s
 chool students who are deaf or hard of hearing\n\nJoin the Rochester Insti
 tute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) to e
 xplore "Advanced Tech Careers" from July 19 to 24. The program will start 
 on Saturday afternoon and end on Thursday morning.\n\nAdvanced Tech Career
 s is a fun and educational summer program for students who are deaf and ha
 rd of hearing to learn more about technology and the different careers the
 y can pursue in science\, technology\, engineering and math (STEM).\n\nStu
 dents will engage in activities designed to challenge their minds and spar
 k creativity. Campers will work with a group of 25 to 30 other students an
 d instructors:\n\n 	Coding programs and games\n 	Designing and building a 
 high-tech gadget\n 	Experimenting with different technologies in a modern 
 lab\n 	Learning what type of tech career suits your interests and skills\n
 \nStudents will also have opportunities to have fun and socialize with oth
 er students. Students will stay in a dorm room on campus with a roommate a
 nd enjoy group activities in the afternoon and evening.\n\nThe program is 
 open to students who are deaf or hard of hearing and entering grades 10\, 
 11 or 12 in fall 2025. Students who have attended other programs at RIT/NT
 ID and enjoy technology are welcome to apply again.\n\nThe cost is $850 an
 d covers room\, board and all activities. Partial scholarships are availab
