SUMMARY:Advocate Children's Hospital Sibsensations
DESCRIPTION:Program for brothers and sisters of children with special needs
 .\n\nSibsensations offers support for typically developing siblings of chi
 ldren with developmental disabilities\, physical disabilities and selected
  chronic illnesses who are ages 8 to 13.\n\nChildren meet peers with simil
 ar experiences in a fun and friendly atmosphere\, where they can discuss t
 heir common joys and concerns. The siblings learn how to handle situatio
 ns they all face regularly and talk about what it’s like to have a broth
 er or sister with special needs. The program includes games\, activities
 \, crafts and age-appropriate discussion.\n\nSessions are scheduled from 9
  to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 16\, Oct. 14\, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9 in the basement
  classrooms at the Center for Advanced Care in Park Ridge. The cost is $10
  per session and $5 for each additional family member.\n\nRegistration is
