SUMMARY:Advocate Children's Hospital Sibsensations - Zoom Edition
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nFree virtual program for brothers and sisters of chi
 ldren with special needs\n\nAdvocate Children's Hospital's Sibsensations o
 ffers support for typically developing siblings of children with developme
 ntal disabilities\, physical disabilities and selected chronic illnesses. 
 Participants are ages 8 to 13.\n\nChildren meet peers with similar experie
 nces in a fun and friendly atmosphere\, where they can discuss their commo
 n joys and concerns. The siblings learn how to handle situations they all 
 face regularly and talk about what it’s like to have a brother or sister
  with special needs. The program includes games\, activities\, crafts and 
 age-appropriate discussions.\n\nDue to the COVID-19 pandemic\, the Sibsens
 ations meetings for fall 2020 will take place on Zoom until further notice
 .\n\nThe September session is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 17.\n\
 nSiblings will need a device with internet connection and a private space 
 to participate as the meetings are confidential.\n\nZoom sessions are free
