DESCRIPTION:Free in-person events for people of all ages to strengthen the
 ir American Sign Language (ASL) skills\, build connections and support lov
 ed ones who are deaf or hard of hearing\n\nJoin Moraine Valley Community C
 ollect (MVCC) for "Bee Connected: An American Sign Language (ASL) Family E
 vent Series." The sessions are free and open to the public. The events wil
 l feature hands-on activities and opportunities to engage with Deaf commun
 ity members in a welcoming space.\n\nThe fun\, family-friendly activities 
 will help people of all ages:\n\n 	Strengthen their ASL skills\n 	Build co
 nnections with other families and the deaf and hard of hearing community\n
  	Have fun engaging in family-friendly activities\n 	Support loved ones wh
 o are deaf or hard of hearing\n\nMVCC will host "Beezy Brain Buzz" on July
  23 from 1 to 3 p.m.\n\nInvite your family members and friends to learn ho
 w an entrepreneur who is deaf jump-started their business.\n\nGain some gr
 eat business tips while developing your ASL skills!\n\nInterpreters will b

 \nThe Bee Connected ASL Family Event Series will wrap up with a "Buzzworth
 y Storytelling Bash" on Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please register onl
 ine by Aug. 20 to attend.\n\nMVCC offers free ASL classes for families who
  have children ages birth through high school who are deaf or hard of hear
 ing. Deaf instructors teach the classes in sign language and written Engli
 sh. MVCC serves residents in Moraine Valley and Cook County.
