DESCRIPTION:A walk highlighting meaningful friendships and raising awarenes
 s and funds to support programs for individuals with intellectual and deve
 lopmental disabilities (IDD)\n\nBest Buddies’ Friendship Walk (BBFW) is 
 happening on April 30 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Corn Crib\, 1000 W. Raab 
 Road\, in Normal.\n\nBBFW is an event where friendship is the focus. This 
 year's walk will feature a wheelchair-accessible monster truck and a post-
 walk celebration with entertainment\, food and lots of fun.\n\nBest Buddie
 s provides individuals with Down syndrome\, autism\, Fragile X syndrome\, 
 cerebral palsy\, traumatic brain injury and other disabilities in the IDD 
 community opportunities to:\n\n 	Form meaningful friendships with their pe
 ers\n 	Secure integrated employment\n 	Develop leadership skills\n 	Live i
 n inclusive\, independent settings\n\nRegistration is free.\n\nIndividuals
  may also volunteer for the day or join a team/form a team to help raise a
 wareness and funds.
