DESCRIPTION:A free respite opportunity for parents of children with disabil
 ities and their siblings\n\nOptions and Advocacy and First Church of Cryst
 al Lake are hosting Buddy Break on April 30 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at First
  Church Crystal Lake\, 236 W. Crystal Lake Ave\, in Crystal Lake.\n\nBuddy
  Break-Nathaniel's Hope is a free children's respite program where caregiv
 ers get a break from their caregiving responsibilities and kids with speci
 al needs ( called VIPs in this program) and their siblings make new friend
 s\, play games\, enjoy crafts\, stories\, music and activities\, and have 
 fun.\n\nBuddy Break is for VIPs between the ages of 2 - 16 who:\n\n 	Have 
 a physical\, cognitive\, medical or other hidden disability\n 	Have a chro
 nic or life-threatening illness\n 	Are medically fragile\n\nSiblings ages 
 4 to 11 are also invited to attend.\n\nEach child is assigned a trained "b
 uddy" to be by their side for three hours of one-to-one attention and kid-
 centered activities.\n\nVIPS and siblings are accepted on a first-come\, f
 irst-served basis for each session. To register or for more information\,
