DESCRIPTION:A free\, overnight camp for children ages 10 to 16 with Type 1 
 diabetes\n\nCamp BETA will be on Sept. 23-24. Campers will arrive at 9 a.m
 . on Sept. 23 and leave on Sept. 24 at 2 p.m.\n\nThe camp is at Southern I
 llinois University Touch of Nature Environmental Center\,  1206 Touch of 
 Nature Rd.\, in Makanda.\n\nCamp Beta is a free overnight camp for youth a
 ges 10 to 16 with Type 1 diabetes. Opportunities are also available for co
 unselors-in-training for youth ages 16 to 17 with diabetes.\n\nCampers wil
 l build confidence\, make new friends and enjoy:\n\n 	Hiking and orienteer
 ing\n 	Boating\n 	Arts and crafts\n 	Archery\n 	Horseback riding\n 	Climbi
