DESCRIPTION:Exciting\, safe  summer camp experience for individuals with d
 isabilities.\n\nCamp Callahan aims to serve youth with wide-ranging disab
 ilities through a stimulating\, liberating program in an environment that 
 is physically and socially adapted to their personal needs. The camp has t
 he specialized environment\, equipment\, activities\, accessible buildings
  and a trained adult staff to overcome the barriers that a person with dis
 abilities would encounter at ordinary summer camps.\n\nEligible campers re
 siding in west central Illinois and eastern Missouri can attend Camp Calla
 han at no charge except for a small registration fee through funding pro
 vided by Camp Callahan\, Inc.\n\nThe first session is scheduled for July 9
