DESCRIPTION:Students who are deaf or hard of hearing can head to camp to ex
 plore science\, technology\, engineering and math (STEM) majors and career
 s in the heart of Washington\, D.C.\n\nGallaudet University will host "Dis
 cover College and Careers in STEM (DC² in STEM)" from June 14-20.\n\nThe 
 DC² in STEM camp experience is for students interested in pursuing a care
 er in STEM and related fields.\n\nCampers will:\n\n 	Explore STEM-related 
 programs\n 	Conduct hands-on experiments\n 	Identify their strengths and i
 nterests through career assessments\n 	Develop a transition portfolio\n 	M
 eet successful Deaf professionals working in STEM at Gallaudet\n\nStudents
  will also experience the Gallaudet campus and the excitement of Washingto
 n\, D.C.!\n\nThe program is limited to students who are deaf or hard of he
 aring interested in pursuing a career in STEM and entering grades 10 to 12
 .\n\nThe camp cost is $750​. Financial assistance is available.\n\nApply
  online for DC² in STEM summer camp on Gallaudet University's website.\n\
 nYou must submit registration forms and payment by May 1. Camp acceptance 
 is on a rolling basis. Spots fill up quickly.
