DESCRIPTION:Overnight camp for youth with spina bifida ages 7-13.\n\nCamp I
 ndependence is run by the YMCA of Metro Chicago in association with the I
 llinois Spina Bifida Association. It is an overnight camp designed especia
 lly for people with spina bifida\, age 7 through adult. Campers are encour
 aged to learn self-care skills\, develop new friendships and try new adapt
 ive sports. Parents and campers have reported improvements in campers’ g
 oal attainment\, management of health-related self-care and independence.\
 n\nSession 2 is for youth ages 7-13. It is scheduled for June 18-24.\n\nC
