DESCRIPTION:Overnight camp for individuals with spina bifida ages 20 and ol
 der.\n\nCamp Independence is run by the YMCA of Metro Chicago in associat
 ion with the Illinois Spina Bifida Association. It is an overnight camp de
 signed especially for people with spina bifida\, age 7 through adult. Camp
 ers are encouraged to learn self-care skills\, develop new friendships and
  try new adaptive sports. Parents and campers have reported improvements i
 n campers’ goal attainment\, management of health-related self-care and 
 independence.\n\nSession 8 is for individuals ages 20 and older. It is sc
