SUMMARY:CAMP L.E.A.P. Special Needs Summer Day Camp in Springfield
DESCRIPTION:Weekly inclusive program for ages 13-25 with and without disabi
 lities\n\nL.E.A.P. stands for Leisure Education and Adaptive Programming. 
 Camp L.E.A.P. is a Special Needs Summer Day Camp and is a program of adapt
 ive recreation for individuals with disabilities offered through the Sprin
 gfield Park District.\n\nL.E.A.P. programs are for individuals from presch
 ool through adulthood with special needs\, including learning disabilities
 \, physical impairments\, behavior issues\, visual impairments\, multiple 
 disabilities or those with any other special needs. All attempts are made 
 to place participants in programs according to their disability\, age and 
 peer group.\n\nErin's Pavilion Camp L.E.A.P location is for campers age 13
 -25\, with and without a disability/special needs. The camp is held weekly
 \, Monday through Friday\, from June 7 to Aug. 13. The camp day is 7:30 a.
 m. to 5:30 p.m.\n\nStudents are grouped by age into multiple classroom set
 tings. Activities include:\n\n 	Arts and crafts\n 	Daily walks in Southwin
 d Park\n 	Swimming\n 	Guest speakers\n 	Field trips\n 	Games\n 	Daily play
 ground activities\n 	Bowling and much more\n\nFor more information\, call

  as the Friday prior to the week the participant is attending.
