DESCRIPTION:Fun camp experience for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth.\n\nCamp
  Lions' mission is for the overall growth of the individual camper in self
 -confidence\, knowledge\, independence\, leadership and creativity through
  a recreational experience geared to individual abilities\, from the begin
 ning camper to the returning veteran.\n\nCamp Lions "Deaf Week" is schedul
 ed for July 17 to 23 at East Bay Camp\, 24248 Ron Smith Memorial Highway\,
  in Hudson.\n\nCampers will check in on July 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. Check-out
  will be on July 23 from 9 to 11 a.m.\n\nLocated on the northeast end of L
 ake Bloomington\, this site offers canoeing\, pontoon boat rides\, archery
 \, team challenge courses\, nature crafts\, cookouts around the fire and m
 ore.\n\nTo be eligible to attend Camp Lions\, a camper must be:\n\n 	Deaf/
 hard of hearing: have an auditory loss that required daily use of sign lan
 guage\, lipreading\, and/or daily use of a hearing aid or cochlear implant
 \n 	Between the ages of 7 to 17 years old\n 	Independent in all personal c
 are without assistance\n 	Independently mobile on campgrounds\n\nVisit the
  Camp Lions website for more information and to register. Camp is free for
  eligible youth.
