SUMMARY:Camp Little Giant - Camp Shawnee Session II
DESCRIPTION:Camp for youth ages 8-21 with physical\, cognitive or developme
 ntal disabilities on July 14-26.\n\nCamp Little Giant offers participants 
 an eye-opening view of their own capabilities and the belief that they can
  increase their confidence and independence. It provides the opportunity 
 for people with mental\, physical\, or cognitive disabilities to get in to
 uch with nature in a safe yet exciting manner.\n\nThe camp is located on t
 he shores of Little Grassy Lake near the Shawnee National Forest with acce
 ss to an outdoor playground full of adventure.\n\nCamp Little Giant's phi
 losophy is to allow campers to develop a "can do" attitude. Their focus i
 s for the camper to be an independent as possible while still following ro
 utines and providing necessary assistance.\n\nActivities include:\n\n 	Fis
 hing\n 	Arts and crafts\n 	Horseback riding\n 	Boating\n 	Sports and games
 \n 	Theater\n 	Swimming\n 	Dancing\n 	Hayrides\n 	Campfires\n\nCamp Shawne
