SUMMARY:Camp PALS for Ages 25 and up in Elmhurst
DESCRIPTION:An inclusive camp experience for people with and without Down s
 yndrome (DS) ages 25 and up\n\nCamp PALS will host a modified version of i
 ts inclusive camp experience at Elmhurst College on July 26-30. Participan
 ts arrive on Wednesday and stay through Sunday.\n\nPALS Chicago II partici
 pants must be over the age of 25 and ready to engage in more adult-focused
  activities with increased independence and expectations. Activities will 
 include:\n\n 	Unique on-campus activities\n 	Exploring local sights\n 	Bui
 lding transformative\, lifelong friendships\n\nPALS participants must also
  be fully independent in the self-administration of medication. A first-ai
 d trained volunteer will be on-site\, but there will not be a designated m
 edical professional to dispense medication.\n\nThe cost of the modified we
 ek of Camp PALS is $1\,800. PALS works with every participant to ensure th
 at cost is never a barrier to joining the PALS community. To request finan
