 vent near the Carillon\n\nThe Springfield Park District will host "Carve f
 or the Carillon" on Oct. 12 and 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Carving will tak
 e place on both days while supplies last.\n\nEveryone in the community is 
 invited to carve!\n\nBring your favorite carving tools and ideas and help 
 create pumpkins for the "Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular" on Oct. 18.\n\nFree p
 umpkins will be available for carving and decorating each day while suppli
