SUMMARY:Chicago Children's Theatre - In-Person Camp Red Kite
DESCRIPTION:In-person arts camp for youth on the autism spectrum ages 8 to 
 22.\n\nThe Chicago Children's Theatre's Camp Red Kite is an adaptive thea
 ter program for young people on the autism spectrum and other neurodiverse
  learners. The primary pillar of our curriculum is social-emotional learni
 ng (SEL)\, utilizing sensory drama games to engage each student’s abilit
 y to work within a group and explore their emotional expressivity and unde
 rstanding. Our classes engage in creative play and sensory experiences to 
 encourage students to connect with their unique body\, voice\, imagination
 \, and with the community around them.\n\nEach day\, campers can engage in
  classes in drama\, art\, music and visual arts throughout two weeks.  Jo
 in us for a dynamic arts experience that encourages self-expression\, soci
 al engagement and creative exploration.\n\nThe program is led by a team of
  artists\, administrators and special education teachers aiming to create 
 a safe\, welcoming and comfortable environment for children affected by au
