DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nVirtual arts camp for youth on the autism spectrum a
 ges 8 to 22.\n\nThe Chicago Children's Theatre's Camp Red Kite is an adapt
 ive theater program for young people on the autism spectrum and other neur
 odiverse learners. The primary pillar of its curriculum is social-emotiona
 l learning (SEL)\, utilizing sensory drama games to engage each student’
 s ability to work within a group and explore their emotional expressivity 
 and understanding.\n\nThe classes engage in creative play and sensory expe
 riences to encourage students to connect with their unique body\, voice\, 
 imagination and with the community around them.\n\nEach day\, campers can 
 engage in classes in drama\, art\, music and visual arts throughout two we
 eks.\n\nThe program is led by a team of artists\, administrators and speci
 al education teachers aiming to create a safe\, welcoming and comfortable
