DESCRIPTION:An adaptive rock climbing experience for individuals with physi
 cal disabilities\n\nThe Chicagoland Adaptive Climbing Expo\, a partnership
  between Adaptive Adventures\, Synergy Adaptive Athletics and the Shirley 
 Ryan Ability Lab\, is on June 4 from 12 to 4 p.m.\n\nThe event is at Maggi
 e Daley Park\, 337 E. Randolph St.\, in Chicago.\n\nThe Chicagoland Adapti
 ve Climbing Expo is for people with physical disabilities and their loved 
 ones to enjoy the sport and lifestyle of climbing. The event is designed f
 or individuals with any type of physical disability. It will showcase adap
 tive climbing methods and equipment.\n\nAdaptive climbing fosters an amazi
 ng sense of community\, trust\, courage and accomplishment. Whether you ar
 e a wheelchair user or you are ambulatory\, come learn how to climb succes
 sfully.\n\nAll skill levels are welcome. The club provides adaptive equipm
 ent\, plenty of encouragement and support\, and a cool community of people
  to help participants reach new heights.\n\nAdaptive Adventures is current
 ly offering programs for children (ages 4 and up)\, youth\, adults and vet
 erans.\n\nThe cost is $5 per participant and includes essential climbing e
 quipment\, instruction and an event t-shirt.\n\nSign up online for the Chi
 cagoland Adaptive Climbing Expo. Registration is required.
