DESCRIPTION:Bring plenty of water and sunscreen and plan to have fun enjoyi
 ng a morning of adaptive kayaking!\n\nJoin Adaptive Adventures for this ad
 aptive kayaking event on Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.\n\nOn arrival\, at
  either Busse Woods or Skokie Lagoons\, you'll be fitted in a kayak and se
 t up with special adaptive equipment like trunk support\, grip support and
  one-handed paddle adaptation. Specially trained volunteers will come alon
 g with you to help where needed. Once everyone is on the water\, the group
  will spend about an hour kayaking together.\n\nThe event is $20 for indiv
 iduals with physical disabilities and free for veterans with physical disa
 bilities.\n\nRegister now for this event.  You must register to attend th
 is event.\n\nIf you register and cannot attend\, please email Monica Voss 
 at Monica.Voss@adaptiveadventures.org so your spot can be filled.\n\nParti
 cipants must be able to follow directions and effectively communicate with
  or without assistance provided by themselves to participate. At this time
 \, group size and physical touch is being limited. If you need assistance
