DESCRIPTION:Illinois students with autism can apply for the 2025 Evolving H
 eroes Education Scholarship through June 30\n\nThe Autism Hero Project is 
 accepting applications for the "2025 Evolving Heroes Education Scholarship
 " until June 30.\n\nAs a neurodiverse community\, individuals on the autis
 m spectrum face unique challenges when it comes to accessing education and
  employment opportunities.\nThe Evolving Heroes Scholarship seeks to remov
 e financial barriers and help individuals on the autism spectrum learn and
  thrive. The 2025-26 academic year grant can be used for a wide range of e
 ducational and training programs\, including:\n\n\n 	Trade schools\n 	Comm
 unity colleges\n 	Four-year universities\n\nTo be eligible for the scholar
 ship\, applicants must be:\n\n 	Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (A
 SD) by a qualified medical professional\n 	Reside in Illinois or Florida (
 proof of residency is required)\n\nScholarship amounts are up to $2\,500 p
 er person. Recipients can use the scholarship funds to pay for tuition\, f
 ees and other educational expenses. Recipients cannot use the scholarship 
 for transition programs. First-time applicants will receive priority.\n\nL

 ro Project's website.\n\nApply for the 2025 Evolving Heroes Education Scho
 larship. The deadline to apply is June 30.\n\nThe program will notify scho
 larship recipients by email no later than Aug. 1.
