DESCRIPTION:Free\, hands-on computer science and technology workshops and e
 vents for youth in eighth through 12th grade who are deaf and hard of hear
 ing\n\nHave fun and gain new skills!\n\nJoin the Chicago Park District Dea
 f and Hard of Hearing Programs' "Deaf Kids Code" Friday workshops and hack
 athon events. (The times/locations for the hackathon events will be announ
 ced during the workshops).\n\n 	Friday Workshops will be on Jan. 19 and Fe
 b. 2 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.\n 	The Google Hackathon preparation session will 
 be on Feb. 24.\n 	The Google Hackathon will be on March 9.\n\nTeens will l
 earn computer science techniques using a problem-focused approach. Partic
 ipants can gain coding and other engineering skills learning:\n\n 	Python\
 n 	C++\n 	React\n\nThe workshops and hackathon events are open to teens ag
 es 13 to 19 years old with all types of hearing loss.\n\nSee the Deaf Kids
