SUMMARY:Dixon Springs Agricultural Center Youth Gardening Class
DESCRIPTION:Free summer youth gardening classes at Dixon Springs Agricultur
 al Center\n\nJoin the University of Illinois Extension staff and volunteer
 s at Dixon Springs Agricultural Center (DSAC) for the Youth Gardening Clas
 s on June 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. Classes are on Thursday mornings during Jun
 e and July.\n\nThe youth gardening classes at DSAC are a great way for chi
 ldren to learn about gardening and the outdoors.\n\nLearn about succulents
  and help with garden tasks\, including:\n\n 	Harvesting and weighing prod
 uce\n 	Watering plants\n 	Planting seeds\n\nParticipants should wear close
 d-toe shoes and bring a water bottle. Wearing sunscreen and using bug spra
 y is also important.\n\nMeet at the Extension office\, just north of the A
 dministration Building at the DSAC. Classes are free and open to all youth
 . The Extension donates everything grown in the garden back to the communi
 ty.\n\nRegister for the DSAC Youth Gardening Class online and see the clas
 s schedule and future topics. You must register to attend. Space is limite
