DESCRIPTION:An opportunity for families with children with disabilities to 
 experience the museum with fewer guests and a less stimulating environment
 \n\nThe DuPage Children's Museum is hosting an adaptive play-time event on
  Dec. 12 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.\n\nThe museum invites families with childre
 n with disabilities\, on the autism spectrum and/or with sensory processin
 g to spend time exploring and learning together at the DuPage Children's M
 useum\, located at 301 N. Washington St.\, in Naperville.\n\nAdaptive play
 -time provides a modified environment where lights are dimmed and fewer gu
 ests are admitted to decrease noise and other distractions.\n\nRegistratio
 n is required on the museum website.\n\nMasks are required for everyone ag
 e 2 years and older. During Adaptive Play Times\, an exception can be made
  for a child with a medical or sensory issue that prevents them from weari
 ng a mask.\n\n&nbsp\;
