  beginning at 9 a.m.\n\nWould you like to make a difference in the life of
  a child with a disability?\n\nAn Educational Surrogate Parent is an advoc
 ate in the special education process on the student’s behalf when a chil
 d with disabilities doesn’t have parent/guardian representation.\n\nFami
 ly Matters is training volunteers in all counties of the state to act as E
 ducational Surrogate Parent at Individualized Education Program (IEP)/spec
