DESCRIPTION:Free event with child-centered activities and special needs res
 ources.\n\nTo celebrate the Week of the Young Child\, families are invited
  to the annual Family Fun Fair from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Heartland Comm
 unity Church in Rockford.\n\nThe fair will feature child-centered activit
 ies\, a soap bubble artist\, musical performance\, face painting\, a bounc
 e house and community\, educational and special needs resources. UIC Divis
 ion of Specialized Care for Children staff will be there to speak with par
 ents and caregivers about how we can support their family through their ch
 ild's journey with a special healthcare need.\n\nWeek of the Young Child\,
  sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children
  (NAEYC)\, is an opportunity for early childhood programs across the count
