SUMMARY:Family Night Out at DuPage Children's Museum
DESCRIPTION:An evening of play and learning for children with special needs
  and their families.\n\nFamily Night Out at the DuPage Children's Museum i
 s scheduled for Feb. 16 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The event provides an evening 
 of play and learning for children with special needs and their families\, 
 focusing on the autism spectrum and other sensory processing disorders as 
 well as physical disabilities.\n\nFinding places for the whole family to p
 lay without stress can be difficult\, but this after-hours event allows fo
 r a time to experience the museum in a calmer\, less crowded environment. 
 Some lighting and sound will be muted\, and additional sensory activities 
 and cool down spaces will be provided.\n\nAdmission is free but registrat
 ion is required on the event's registration page.\n\nIn an effort to provi
 de a sensory-friendly environment\, admission will be capped at 225 guests
 .\n\nComplimentary snacks and beverages will be available. Attendees are w
 elcome to bring their own food.
