DESCRIPTION:Note this event has been canceled.\n\nFamily Night Out at the D
 uPage Children's Museum is scheduled for March 21 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The 
 event provides an evening of play and learning for children with special n
 eeds and their families\, focusing on the autism spectrum and other sensor
 y processing disorders as well as physical disabilities.\n\nFinding places
  for the whole family to play without stress can be difficult\, but this a
 fter-hours event allows for a time to experience the museum in a calmer\, 
 less crowded environment.\n\nSome lighting and sound will be muted. The mu
 seum will provide additional sensory activities and cool down spaces.\n\nA
 dmission is free but registration is required on the event's registration
  page.\n\nIn an effort to provide a sensory-friendly environment\, admissi
 on will be capped at 300 guests.\n\nComplimentary snacks and beverages wil
 l be available. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food.
