SUMMARY:Focus Group: Share your Insight About Early Intervention
DESCRIPTION:Families of young children with disabilities are invited to par
 ticipate.\n\nThe Early Intervention Clearinghouse (EIC) at the University 
 of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) is conducting focus groups with fam
 ilies of young children with disabilities. The purpose is to learn their
  perspectives about needed supports\, information  and services.\n\nFamil
 ies will also be asked to participate in a focus group discussion for 60 
 to 90 minutes. At the beginning of the focus group meeting\, participants
  will complete a 20-minute questionnaire about their family and experien
 ces with Early Intervention services.\n\nNext\, participants will take pa
 rt in a focus group discussion\, which is similar to a roundtable discuss
 ion.\n\nParticipants must be the parent or family member of a young (age b
 irth to 8 years old) child who received Early Intervention services.\n\nPa
 rticipation is voluntary\, and responses will be kept confidential. Parti
 cipants will receive a $10 gift card and a package of resources.\n\nTo par
