SUMMARY:Hearts to Art Summer Day Camp in Chicago
DESCRIPTION:A free day camp for young people who have experienced the death
  of a parent\n\nThe Auditorium Theatre is hosting Session 2 of Hearts to A
 rt Summer Day Camp on July 5 to 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  This session is
  for youth ages 11 to 14 (entering sixth through ninth grade).\n\nHearts t
 o Art will be held at the Vittum Theater\, 1012 N. Noble St.\, in Chicago.
 \n\nHearts to Art performing arts campers will work on developing skills i
 n acting\, movement\, improvisation\, singing\, and more through fun and e
 xciting classes. Hearts to Art activities also focus on:\n\n 	Encouraging 
 the healing power of creative play\n 	Inspiring communication and collabor
 ation\n 	Fostering emotional growth\n 	Providing friendship\, compassion a
 nd community\n\nThrough interaction with young people who have experienced
  a similar loss\, campers understand they are not alone. Small group creat
 ive activities are facilitated by professional healing counselors\, provid
 ing campers a safe time and place to express and share their feelings with
  peers. Healing counselors are also on-site throughout the duration of ca

 to reserve your spot. Camp is free but space is limited. Spots and the wai
 tlist are filled on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nThe application
