SUMMARY:I Ready Virtual Summer Camp for High Schoolers With Autism
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nFree online camp for high school students with autis
 m\n\nThe Autism Program of Illinois and the University of Illinois Autism 
 Clinic are offering a virtual summer camp for rising sophomores\, juniors 
 and seniors in high school who were diagnosed with autism.\n\nI Ready will
  give youths interested in attending the University of Illinois opportunit
 ies to learn about college life from current students.\n\nThe camp will ta
 ke place June 22-25.\n\nCampers will attend 90-minute sessions from 1-2:30
  p.m. each day using the web app Zoom.\n\nCampers will:\n\n 	Learn about t
 he opportunities and resources available to U. of I. students with autism\
 n 	Receive tips on succeeding at college\n 	Talk with current undergraduat
 e students about meeting new friends\, getting involved in student organiz
 ations and navigating other aspects of college life\n\nThe June 25 session
  will include information of interest to campers’ parents\, such as cons
 iderations for helping their students successfully transition from high sc
 hool to college.\n\nThe camp also will provide tips on study skills and of
 fer opportunities for participants to meet peers who have similar interest
 s.\n\nThe deadline for registration is May 24.\n\nFor more information and
