SUMMARY:iCan Bike Camp 2025 in East Moline
DESCRIPTION:Children with disabilities can gain confidence and independence
  by learning to ride a bike in just one week!\n\nJoin the Children's Thera
 py Center of the Quad Cities for "iCan Bike Camp" from June 9 to 13. Rider
 s will attend one 75-minute session each day.\n\nUsing adapted bicycles\, 
 spotters and an encouraging environment\, this program turns “I can’t
 ” into “I can!”\n\nFor five consecutive days\, children and youth ag
 es 8 to 18 with disabilities will learn to ride a two-wheel bicycle. Camp 
 staff will adjust the bikes during the week to help riders learn to balanc
 e\, gain important skills and discover the joy of riding.\n\nRider benefit
 s include:\n\n 	Increased self-esteem and confidence\n 	Improved physical 
 fitness\, mental health and overall quality of life\n 	Independent transpo
 rtation and inclusion opportunities\n\nCampers must have a disability and 
 be at least 8 years old to participate. Other requirements include:\n\n 	A
 ttending all five days of camp\n 	Having a minimum inseam of 20 inches\n 	
 Weighing less than 220 pounds\n 	Walking without assistive devices and bei
 ng able to side-step to both sides\n 	Willing to wear a properly fitted he
