SUMMARY:Illinois School for the Visually Impaired Junior STEM Camp 2018
DESCRIPTION:Free one-week camping adventure for youth 9-12 who are blind o
 r visually impaired.\n\nIllinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) 
 summer camps present an overview of current trends in an area of concentra
 tion.  Have fun following a journey that uses time travel and transports 
 you to the past and back to the present. Explore old and new ways to brin
 g STEM activities to life.  Students will learn exciting activities throu
 ghout the day and enjoy evening recreational activities such as swimming\,
  field trips and outdoor recreation.\n\nAll camps are scheduled for June 1
 0-16.\n\nThe Junior STEM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Math) Cam
 p will feature team-building activities that apply STEM skills to travel 
 through time.  Discover and experience these skills through games\, build
 ing with 3D materials and music.\n\nStudents who are visually impaired age
 s 9 to 12 are eligible to attend if they reside in Illinois\, do not curre
 nt attend ISVI\, are not high school graduates and have appropriate indepe
