SUMMARY:Illinois School for the Visually Impaired Junior STEM Camp 2019
DESCRIPTION:One-week camping adventure for youth ages 9-12 who are blind
  or visually impaired.\n\nIllinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI)
  summer camps bring together students who are blind and visually impaired
  from schools throughout Illinois for a week-long learning adventure. Each
  camp will present an overview of current trends in an area of concentrati
 on.\n\nAll camps are scheduled for June 16-22 on the ISVI campus in Jackso
 nville.\n\nThe Junior STEM Camp will allow campers to engage in team-buil
 ding activities that apply STEM (science\, technology\, engineering and ma
 th) skills to unearth their talents and treasures. Campers will discover a
 nd experience these concepts through games\, building with 3D materials an
 d music.\n\nStudents who are visually impaired ages 9 to 12 are eligible
  to attend if they:\n\n 	Reside in Illinois\n 	Do not currently attend ISV
 I\n 	Are not high school graduates\n 	Have appropriate independent living 
 skills\n\nThere will be a fee of $15. No student will be denied an opport
 unity to attend camp solely for an inability to pay. Scholarships are avai
