DESCRIPTION:Free one-week camping adventure for youth 15-19 who are blin
 d or visually impaired.\n\nIllinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI
 ) summer camps present an overview of current trends in an area of concen
 tration.  Have fun following a journey that uses time travel and transpor
 ts you to the past and back to the present.  Explore old and new ways to 
 bring STEM activities to life.  Students will learn exciting activities t
 hroughout the day and enjoy evening recreational activities such as swimmi
 ng\, field trips and outdoor recreation.\n\nAll camps are scheduled for Ju
 ne 10-16.\n\nThe Transition to Independence Camp will allow campers to lea
 rn about skills that promote successful transition to adulthood in the are
 as of nutrition/fitness\, community involvement and recreation\, independ
 ent living and employment.\n\nStudents who are visually impaired ages 15 t
 o 19 are eligible to attend if they reside in Illinois\, do not current a
 ttend ISVI\, are not high school graduates and have appropriate independen
