DESCRIPTION:One-week camping adventure for youth 15-19 who are blind or 
 visually impaired.\n\nIllinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) su
 mmer camps bring together students who are blind and visually impaired fro
 m schools throughout Illinois for a week-long learning adventure. Each cam
 p will present an overview of current trends in an area of concentration.\
 n\nAll camps are scheduled for June 16-22 on the ISVI campus in Jacksonvil
 le.\n\nThe Transition to Independence Camp  will allow campers to learn a
 bout independent living skills that promote successful transition to adul
 thood through:\n\n 	Nutrition\n 	Fitness\n 	Technology\n 	Employment skil
 ls\n 	Recreation\n\nStudents who are visually impaired ages 15 to 19 are 
 eligible to attend if they:\n\n 	Reside in Illinois\n 	Do not currently at
 tend ISVI\n 	Are not high school graduates\n 	Have appropriate independent
  living skills\n\nThere will be a fee of $15. No student will be denied a
 n opportunity to attend camp solely for an inability to pay. Scholarships
