DESCRIPTION:Free one-week camping adventure for youth 15-19 who are blin
 d or visually impaired.\n\nIllinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI
 ) summer camps include lab and community learning activities throughout t
 he day and evening activities\, such as swimming\, glow golf and outdoor r
 ecreation.\n\nThe Transition to Independence Camp will allow campers to le
 arn about skills that promote successful transition to adulthood in the ar
 eas of nutrition/fitness\, community involvement and recreation\, indepen
 dent living and employment.\n\nStudents who are visually impaired ages 15 
 to 19 are eligible to attend if they reside in Illinois\, do not current 
 attend ISVI\, are not high school graduates and have appropriate independe
