DESCRIPTION:Opportunity for college-bound students ages 14 to 19 who are de
 af or hard of hearing to explore their interest in careers in science\, te
 chnology\, engineering and math (STEM)\n\nJoin the Rochester Institute of 
 Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf and the Illinois 
 Department of Human Services (DHS)\, Division of Rehabilitation Services\,
  for Illinois STEM Week on June 23 to 28.\n\nThe program is for all eligib
 le high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing ages 14 to 19 with
  approval from the DHS\, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.\n\nStude
 nts will:\n\n 	Get hands-on experience in technology and specialized skill
 s\n 	Build confidence and develop decision-making skills\n 	Participate in
  unique and interesting engineering challenges\n 	Make new friends from th
 roughout Illinois and have fun\n\nStudents will also have an opportunity t
 o work with career counselors and faculty in small group settings to deter
 mine their interests and explore STEM career options.\n\nSee the Illinois
