SUMMARY:Institute Event for Hearing Loss
DESCRIPTION:A week long event for parents of preschool children who are dea
 f or hard of hearing.\n\nInstitute is a Sunday to Friday program for paren
 ts of children (up to age 5) who have a significant hearing loss. Parents 
 and children spend the week at the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jackson
 ville\, Illinois.\n\nParents attend learning sessions on language developm
 ent\, communication choices\, deaf culture and more. Children attend a var
 iety of classrooms to play with other children and have evaluations for he
 aring\, language\, education and more.\n\nThe Institute has many sponsorin
 g organizations so families are able to enjoy this experience at no cost!
