 dividuals\, families and nonprofits with low income\n\nIllinois PCs for Pe
 ople is hosting a computer delivery event on Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.
 m.\n\nThe event is at AME Tech in the Trunk/AME Bethel Church\, 1035 Marke
 t St.\, in Madison.\n\nPCs for People is a national nonprofit that provide
 s affordable technology and internet service to low-income individuals\, f
 amilies with children\, those with disabilities and nonprofits.\n\nPCs for
  People works with various community partners statewide to receive and ref
 urbish computers that are redistributed to eligible residents to improve a
 ccess to:\n\n 	Remote learning\n 	Working from home\n 	Telemedicine\n 	Oth
 er requirements of everyday life\n\nTo be eligible\, residents must be bel
 ow 135 percent of the poverty level and enrolled in income-based governmen
 t assistance programs\, such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program 
 (SNAP)\, Medicaid or Federal Housing Assistance.\n\nSign up online for the
